AI GENERATION & ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

This AI Generation & Acceptable Use Policy (“AI Policy”) governs your use of artificial intelligence-powered features provided through ArtLion.

This AI Policy forms part of the rules governing your use of ArtLion and should be read together with the ArtLion Terms of Use, ArtLion Privacy Policy, and, where applicable, the ArtLion Terms of Paid Services & Energy Coins.

By using ArtLion’s AI-powered features, you agree to comply with this AI Policy.

Nothing in this AI Policy limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

1. SCOPE

This AI Policy applies whenever you use an ArtLion feature that uses artificial intelligence to create, transform, edit, stylize, or otherwise process content.

This includes, where available:

AI sticker generation;
Sticker Factory;
photo-to-sticker functionality;
image transformation or stylization;
generation of sticker packs;
generation based on selected styles;
generation based on emojis, expressions, poses, or reactions;
image editing;
future AI-powered creative features; and
other functionality identified by ArtLion as using artificial intelligence.

2. DEFINITIONS

For purposes of this AI Policy:

“Input” means any photograph, image, text, prompt, instruction, emoji, style selection, reference material, or other content provided or selected for AI processing.

“Output” means any image, sticker, sticker pack, or other content generated or transformed through an ArtLion AI-powered feature.

“AI Services” means the artificial intelligence functionality made available through ArtLion.

“AI Provider” means a third-party artificial intelligence provider used by ArtLion to perform or assist with AI processing.

ArtLion currently uses OpenAI for certain AI Services.

3. HOW AI GENERATION WORKS

When you request an AI generation, ArtLion may combine:

your source image or other Input;
your selected style;
selected emojis, expressions, or other parameters;
instructions associated with the selected ArtLion feature; and
technical generation instructions created by ArtLion.

The information necessary to perform the generation is transmitted to the applicable AI Provider.

The AI Provider processes the request and returns generated Output to ArtLion.

ArtLion then makes the Output available through the applicable feature and may store generated content in your account.

The processing of source images and personal information is described in the ArtLion Privacy Policy.

4. AI SERVICE PROVIDERS

ArtLion currently uses technology provided by OpenAI for certain AI-powered features.

Use of the underlying AI technology may be subject to technical, safety, legal, or policy restrictions imposed by the AI Provider.

ArtLion may implement those restrictions through its own interface and moderation systems.

ArtLion may add, replace, or use additional AI Providers in the future.

Where a change materially affects the processing of personal information, we will update our Privacy Policy or provide other notice where required by applicable law.

5. YOUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR INPUT

You are responsible for the Input you provide to ArtLion.

You must have all rights, permissions, licences, and consents reasonably necessary to:

upload or submit the Input;
allow ArtLion to process the Input;
allow the applicable AI Provider to process the Input for the requested generation; and
use the resulting Output in the manner you intend.

You must not submit Input where doing so would itself violate applicable law or unlawfully infringe another person's rights.

6. PHOTOGRAPHS OF PEOPLE

You may use photographs of yourself with ArtLion’s AI Services.

You may also use photographs depicting other people where you have the legal right or appropriate permission to use those photographs for the requested purpose.

You must not use another person's photograph or likeness in a manner that unlawfully violates their:

privacy;
publicity rights;
personality rights;
intellectual property rights; or
other legal rights.

You are responsible for obtaining consent where consent is required by applicable law.

7. CHILDREN AND MINORS

ArtLion applies heightened protections to content involving children and minors.

You must never use ArtLion to create, request, upload, transform, or distribute content that sexually exploits, sexualizes, abuses, grooms, endangers, or otherwise depicts a minor in a prohibited sexual or exploitative context.

This applies regardless of whether the content is:

photographic;
AI-generated;
illustrated;
cartoon;
anime;
fictional;
stylized; or
otherwise synthetic.

You must not use AI features to sexualize an ordinary photograph of a child or to place a child into an inappropriate, exploitative, dangerous, or sexual context.

ArtLion may immediately block content or accounts associated with suspected child sexual exploitation or abuse and may take other action required or permitted by applicable law.

Where appropriate or legally required, information concerning suspected child exploitation may be reported to competent authorities or legally designated organizations.

8. SEXUAL AND INTIMATE CONTENT

You must not use ArtLion AI Services to create prohibited sexual or exploitative content.

Prohibited uses include:

sexual content involving minors;
sexual exploitation;
sexual violence;
non-consensual sexual content;
non-consensual intimate imagery;
sexualized manipulation of another identifiable person without appropriate authorization;
content created to facilitate sexual abuse or exploitation; and
other sexual content prohibited by applicable law or applicable AI Provider safety requirements.

ArtLion may apply stricter restrictions to sexual or nude content than may otherwise be permitted under the laws of a particular jurisdiction.

The fact that particular content is legal in your jurisdiction does not guarantee that ArtLion or its AI Provider will process it.

9. VIOLENCE AND PHYSICAL HARM

You must not use ArtLion to facilitate serious physical harm or unlawful violence.

Prohibited uses include content intended to:

credibly threaten or intimidate a person;
promote or facilitate terrorism or violent extremist activity;
facilitate violent criminal activity;
provide operational assistance for serious physical harm;
promote or facilitate sexual violence; or
otherwise facilitate violence prohibited by applicable law or applicable AI Provider policies.

ArtLion may restrict graphic or disturbing imagery where necessary for safety, age appropriateness, platform compliance, or applicable AI Provider requirements.

10. SELF-HARM AND DANGEROUS BEHAVIOUR

You must not use ArtLion AI Services to promote, encourage, or facilitate suicide, self-harm, eating-disorder behaviour, or other serious dangerous conduct where such use is prohibited by applicable safety requirements.

ArtLion may block generation requests that appear to create a material safety risk.

11. ILLEGAL ACTIVITY

You must not use ArtLion AI Services to facilitate illegal activity.

This includes using ArtLion to materially assist with:

fraud;
scams;
theft;
identity theft;
exploitation;
trafficking;
prohibited drugs or controlled goods;
malicious cyber activity;
unlawful weapons activity;
evasion of law enforcement;
or other serious unlawful conduct.

ArtLion may restrict additional categories where required by applicable law or applicable AI Provider policies.

12. HARASSMENT, THREATS, AND ABUSE

You must not use ArtLion to create content intended to facilitate:

credible threats;
targeted intimidation;
stalking;
serious harassment;
blackmail;
extortion;
non-consensual humiliation; or
other unlawful abuse of another person.

Satire, parody, fictional content, or ordinary expressive content is not automatically prohibited merely because it depicts a person negatively, but it remains subject to applicable law and other provisions of this AI Policy.

13. HATE AND EXTREMIST CONTENT

You must not use ArtLion AI Services to facilitate hate-based violence, violent extremist activity, recruitment, operational propaganda, or other prohibited harmful conduct.

ArtLion may restrict generation or publication of extremist symbols or related content where required for safety, platform compliance, or applicable law.

Context may be relevant for legitimate historical, educational, documentary, artistic, or critical uses, but ArtLion does not guarantee that every such request can technically be distinguished or processed.

14. DECEPTION, FRAUD, AND IMPERSONATION

You must not use ArtLion AI Services to deceive others in a manner that is fraudulent, unlawful, or materially harmful.

You must not create or use AI-generated content to:

commit fraud;
impersonate another person for deceptive purposes;
falsely represent another person's endorsement;
create fraudulent identity documents;
facilitate scams;
misrepresent AI-generated content as authentic evidence where doing so is deceptive or unlawful; or
otherwise materially deceive others in violation of applicable law.

15. IDENTIFIABLE PERSONS, CELEBRITIES, AND PUBLIC FIGURES

AI-generated content may involve or resemble identifiable persons, including celebrities and public figures.

You are responsible for ensuring that your Input and intended use of Output comply with applicable laws concerning:

privacy;
publicity rights;
personality rights;
defamation;
false endorsement;
intellectual property;
consumer protection; and
other applicable rights.

You must not use ArtLion to create deceptive content falsely suggesting that a real person made a statement, performed an action, endorsed a product, or participated in an event where such use is unlawful or materially misleading.

The ability of ArtLion to technically generate content involving an identifiable person does not mean that you have the legal right to publish, distribute, advertise, sell, or otherwise use that content.

16. COPYRIGHT

You must respect copyright and other intellectual property rights.

You should upload copyrighted photographs, illustrations, artwork, characters, or other protected material only where you:

own the relevant rights;
have permission or an appropriate licence;
are otherwise legally permitted to use the material; or
have another lawful basis for the intended use.

ArtLion does not grant you rights to third-party copyrighted material merely because ArtLion technically accepts an image or produces an Output.

17. TRADEMARKS, BRANDS, AND LOGOS

Input or Output may contain brands, trademarks, trade dress, logos, product designs, or other protected identifiers.

The ability to generate such content does not give you ownership of the relevant trademark or brand.

You are responsible for determining whether your intended use requires authorization from the applicable rights holder.

In particular, commercial use that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, or official status may create additional legal obligations.

18. CHARACTERS, FANDOMS, AND FAN-MADE CONTENT

ArtLion may support creative content inspired by entertainment, gaming, internet culture, fandoms, characters, and other cultural subjects.

Such content may be protected by copyright, trademark, or other rights.

The label “fan-made” does not automatically make a use lawful and does not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.

You must not falsely describe unofficial or fan-made content as:

official;
licensed;
authorized;
sponsored; or
endorsed

by the relevant rights holder where no such relationship exists.

Your right to create something for personal use may also differ from your right to commercially distribute, advertise, or sell it.

19. STYLE REFERENCES

You may select styles or provide descriptive creative directions supported by ArtLion.

ArtLion does not guarantee that an Output will precisely reproduce a requested artistic style.

You remain responsible for ensuring that your intended use of any resulting Output complies with applicable law.

Where ArtLion or an AI Provider restricts a particular request, ArtLion may modify, reject, or decline that request.

20. PRIVACY AND PERSONAL DATA

You must not use ArtLion AI Services to unlawfully expose, exploit, infer, publish, or misuse another person's private or sensitive personal information.

You must not submit private information about another person where you do not have a lawful basis to do so.

Processing of personal information by ArtLion itself is described in the ArtLion Privacy Policy.

21. AI OUTPUT IS NOT GUARANTEED TO BE UNIQUE

AI generation is probabilistic.

The same or similar Input may produce different Output.

Different users may also receive Output that is similar or identical.

ArtLion does not guarantee exclusivity or uniqueness of generated content.

Your ownership of an Output, to the extent recognized under applicable law and the ArtLion Terms of Use, does not give you rights over independently generated content belonging to other users.

22. OWNERSHIP OF AI OUTPUT

Rights concerning Input and Output are governed primarily by the ArtLion Terms of Use.

As between you and ArtLion, and to the extent permitted by applicable law:

you retain your lawful rights in your Input; and
you own Output generated specifically for you to the extent that Output is capable of ownership.

To the extent New Lion Studio Ltd obtains rights in Output solely through providing the AI generation service, those rights are assigned to you as described in the ArtLion Terms of Use.

This does not transfer third-party rights contained in Input or Output.

23. COMMERCIAL USE

Subject to applicable law and the ArtLion Terms of Use, Output generated for you may be used for personal or commercial purposes.

However, ArtLion does not provide intellectual-property clearance for commercial use.

Before commercially using Output, you are responsible for considering whether it contains or implicates:

copyrighted material;
trademarks;
logos;
protected characters;
product designs;
identifiable people;
publicity or personality rights; or
other third-party rights.

ArtLion does not guarantee that any particular Output is legally suitable for trademark registration, copyright registration, advertising, merchandising, resale, or another commercial purpose.

24. ACCURACY AND QUALITY OF AI OUTPUT

AI-generated content may contain:

inaccuracies;
visual artifacts;
distorted details;
incorrect text;
inconsistent characters;
unexpected elements;
differences from reference images;
composition errors; or
other imperfections.

ArtLion does not guarantee that generated Output will exactly match your Input, selected style, preview, reference material, or expectations.

You should review Output before using, publishing, or distributing it.

25. MODERATION

ArtLion may use automated systems, manual review, AI Provider safeguards, or a combination of these methods to evaluate Input, generation requests, and Output.

Moderation may occur:

before a generation begins;
while a generation is being processed;
after Output has been produced;
when content is submitted for public publication; or
after content has been reported or otherwise brought to our attention.

Moderation systems are not perfect.

They may sometimes block permissible content or fail to identify prohibited content.

The fact that content successfully passes moderation does not mean that ArtLion has determined that the content is lawful, non-infringing, appropriate for every audience, or suitable for your intended use.

26. REJECTED GENERATIONS

ArtLion may reject or block a generation request where the Input, requested transformation, or anticipated Output appears to violate:

this AI Policy;
the ArtLion Terms of Use;
applicable law;
applicable AI Provider policies;
platform requirements;
intellectual property protections;
privacy or safety requirements; or
other applicable ArtLion policies.

ArtLion may provide a general explanation for a rejected generation but is not required to disclose detailed moderation logic, detection methods, safety thresholds, or information that could reasonably facilitate circumvention of safety systems.

27. ENERGY COINS AND MODERATION REJECTIONS

If a generation request is rejected by moderation before a successful chargeable generation is completed, Energy Coins will not be charged.

If Energy Coins were temporarily reserved or deducted in connection with a generation that ultimately fails for a qualifying technical or moderation reason, they will be released or restored in accordance with the ArtLion Terms of Paid Services & Energy Coins.

If a generation is successfully completed and Output is delivered, Energy Coins are normally consumed even if you subjectively dislike the result.

Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

28. TECHNICAL FAILURES

If a technical failure prevents ArtLion from successfully completing a chargeable generation and no usable Output is delivered, the applicable Energy Coins will not be finally charged or will be restored in accordance with the ArtLion Terms of Paid Services & Energy Coins.

Temporary processing errors, provider outages, capacity restrictions, network failures, or other technical conditions may affect AI availability.

29. NO GUARANTEE THAT A REQUEST CAN BE GENERATED

Not every request can or will be processed.

A request may fail or be rejected because of:

safety requirements;
content moderation;
technical limitations;
AI Provider restrictions;
service capacity;
model availability;
legal requirements;
platform requirements;
geographic restrictions; or
other operational limitations.

The existence of an ArtLion feature, style, emoji, parameter, or interface option does not guarantee that every possible combination of Input and settings can be generated.

30. DO NOT CIRCUMVENT SAFETY SYSTEMS

You must not attempt to bypass or defeat ArtLion or AI Provider safety systems.

This includes deliberately:

disguising prohibited requests;
repeatedly modifying prohibited content to evade detection;
using encoded or obfuscated instructions to bypass moderation;
exploiting technical vulnerabilities;
manipulating moderation systems; or
using multiple accounts to evade restrictions.

Good-faith retries following an ordinary rejected generation are not prohibited merely because the user changes an image, prompt, style, or other parameter.

31. ENFORCEMENT

Depending on the circumstances, violations of this AI Policy may result in:

rejection of a generation;
restriction of a particular AI feature;
removal of content;
restriction of public publication;
warning;
temporary account restriction;
suspension; or
termination of the ArtLion account.

We may consider factors such as severity, frequency, intent, safety risk, legal obligations, and previous violations when reasonably appropriate.

Serious safety, exploitation, fraud, security, or legal risks may result in immediate action.

32. REPORTING CONTENT

If you believe content created, stored, or published through ArtLion violates this AI Policy, applicable law, or your rights, you may contact:

Intellectual property complaints may be handled under the ArtLion Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy.

We may request additional information where reasonably necessary to evaluate a report.

33. PRIVACY OF SOURCE IMAGES

ArtLion does not retain source images used for AI generation in its permanent content storage after the requested AI processing has been completed.

Source images are temporarily processed through the ArtLion backend and transmitted to the applicable AI Provider as necessary to perform the requested generation.

ArtLion removes its temporary source image after completion of the generation process.

The AI Provider may separately process or temporarily retain API information in accordance with its applicable policies, contractual terms, safety requirements, and ArtLion's API configuration.

34. GENERATED CONTENT STORAGE

Generated stickers and other Output may be stored in your ArtLion account so that you can access and use them.

Generated content generally remains available until:

you delete it;
you delete your account;
ArtLion removes it under applicable Terms or policies; or
removal is required by law.

When you delete your ArtLion account, associated generated content is removed from ArtLion's active production database as described in the Privacy Policy.

35. PUBLICATION IS SEPARATE FROM GENERATION

Successfully generating content does not mean that the content is automatically eligible for publication in the public ArtLion catalogue.

Public content may be subject to additional review under:

this AI Policy;
the ArtLion Community Guidelines;
the ArtLion Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy;
applicable law; and
other applicable publication requirements.

ArtLion may allow content to remain private while refusing to publish it publicly where appropriate.

ArtLion may also remove content from the Services where continued storage or availability would violate applicable law, safety requirements, or ArtLion policies.

36. AI PROVIDER RESTRICTIONS

AI Providers may change their models, safety systems, technical requirements, or usage policies.

As a result, a type of generation that was technically available at one time may later become restricted, unavailable, or processed differently.

ArtLion may implement changes necessary to remain compliant with applicable AI Provider requirements.

Where appropriate, ArtLion may also apply safety rules that are stricter than the minimum rules imposed by an AI Provider.

37. CHANGES TO THIS AI POLICY

Artificial intelligence technology and the laws and policies governing it continue to evolve.

We may update this AI Policy to reflect:

new AI functionality;
new AI Providers;
changes to existing AI models;
safety developments;
new types of abuse;
changes to ArtLion moderation;
changes to applicable AI Provider requirements;
platform requirements; or
changes in applicable law.

When we update this AI Policy, we will update its Release Date and Effective Date.

Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.

38. RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHER ARTLION TERMS

This AI Policy should be read together with:

ArtLion Community Guidelines

If there is a conflict concerning AI generation or acceptable use of AI features, this AI Policy applies to that specific subject matter unless another applicable ArtLion document expressly states otherwise or applicable law requires a different result.

The Terms of Paid Services & Energy Coins govern purchases, Energy Coin charges, restoration, and related payment matters.

The Privacy Policy governs ArtLion's processing of personal information.

The Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy governs intellectual property complaints and related procedures.

39. MANDATORY RIGHTS

Nothing in this AI Policy excludes, limits, or modifies any consumer, privacy, intellectual property, or other statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

If a provision of this AI Policy conflicts with mandatory applicable law, that law prevails to the extent of the conflict.
