COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

ArtLion is a creative platform for discovering, creating, sharing, and enjoying stickers.

We want ArtLion to be a place where artists, creators, fans, communities, and everyday users can express themselves while respecting other people, intellectual property, and applicable law.

These Community Guidelines (“Guidelines”) explain what content and conduct are permitted in public and community areas of ArtLion.

They apply together with the ArtLion Terms of Use, AI Generation & Acceptable Use Policy, Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy, Privacy Policy, and other applicable ArtLion terms.

1. WHERE THESE GUIDELINES APPLY

These Guidelines apply to content that you submit, publish, or otherwise make available in public or community areas of ArtLion, including, where available:

stickers;
sticker packs;
public creator profiles;
pack names;
descriptions;
tags and metadata;
profile images;
AI-generated content submitted for publication;
fan-made content;
community-created content; and
other publicly available user content.

Private AI-generated content is not automatically published to the ArtLion catalogue.

Successfully creating a sticker through ArtLion does not automatically mean that the sticker is eligible for public publication.

2. BE CREATIVE, BUT RESPECT OTHERS

ArtLion supports creativity, humour, fandoms, artistic expression, memes, reactions, original characters, and many other forms of expression.

However, your content must respect:

the safety of other users;
the rights of other people;
intellectual property;
privacy;
applicable law; and
these Guidelines.

Context matters. Art, satire, parody, education, documentation, criticism, and fictional expression may be treated differently from content intended to threaten, exploit, deceive, or harm.

3. CHILD SAFETY

ArtLion has zero tolerance for content that sexually exploits, sexualizes, abuses, grooms, or endangers children.

Do not publish or submit content that:

sexually depicts or sexualizes a minor;
depicts child sexual exploitation or abuse;
promotes or facilitates grooming;
encourages sexual contact with minors;
exploits children for sexual purposes;
depicts minors in fetishized sexual contexts; or
facilitates child exploitation or abuse.

These rules apply to:

photographs;
AI-generated images;
drawings;
cartoons;
anime;
fictional characters;
photorealistic content; and
other synthetic or stylized content.

Content does not become acceptable merely because it is fictional or AI-generated.

ArtLion may immediately remove such content, restrict or terminate accounts, and make reports to competent authorities or legally designated organizations where required or permitted by law.

4. NUDITY AND SEXUAL CONTENT

ArtLion is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not an adult-content platform.

Do not publish:

pornography;
explicit sexual activity;
graphic sexual content;
fetish content intended primarily for sexual arousal;
non-consensual intimate imagery;
sexual exploitation;
sexual violence; or
other sexually explicit material inappropriate for the ArtLion community.

Artistic or non-sexual depictions of the human body may be evaluated differently depending on context, but ArtLion may restrict nudity where necessary for age appropriateness, safety, App Store requirements, or platform standards.

Private AI generation may also be subject to separate and potentially different restrictions under the AI Generation & Acceptable Use Policy.

5. VIOLENCE AND GRAPHIC CONTENT

Do not publish content that:

glorifies serious real-world violence;
credibly threatens another person;
celebrates serious physical harm;
depicts excessively graphic gore primarily for shock value;
encourages violent criminal activity;
promotes terrorism or violent extremism; or
provides material support for violent extremist activity.

Fictional, artistic, historical, documentary, satirical, gaming, or other contextual depictions may be permitted where they do not create an unacceptable safety risk.

ArtLion may restrict graphic content even where it is not illegal.

6. SELF-HARM AND DANGEROUS ACTIVITY

Do not publish content that promotes, encourages, glorifies, or provides instructions intended to facilitate:

suicide;
self-harm;
dangerous eating-disorder behaviour; or
other serious dangerous behaviour.

Supportive, educational, recovery-oriented, or awareness content may be treated differently depending on context.

7. HATE AND DISCRIMINATION

Do not use ArtLion to promote hatred, dehumanization, or violence against people based on protected characteristics under applicable law.

This includes content that seriously attacks or dehumanizes people based on characteristics such as:

race;
ethnicity;
nationality;
religion;
disability;
sex;
sexual orientation;
gender identity; or
other characteristics protected by applicable law.

Satire, counterspeech, educational material, historical material, documentary content, or discussion of hateful material may be evaluated in context.

8. HARASSMENT AND THREATS

Do not use ArtLion to:

make credible threats;
stalk another person;
seriously harass another person;
encourage coordinated abuse;
blackmail or extort someone;
publish content intended to facilitate targeted intimidation; or
encourage others to seriously abuse or threaten an identifiable person.

Ordinary criticism, parody, disagreement, satire, and humour are not automatically harassment.

Context, severity, repetition, and the potential for real-world harm may be considered.

9. PRIVACY

Respect other people's privacy.

Do not publish another person's sensitive or private information without a lawful basis.

This may include:

private addresses;
private phone numbers;
passwords;
financial information;
authentication credentials;
confidential identity documents;
private communications;
or other highly sensitive personal information.

Do not use ArtLion to facilitate stalking, doxxing, identity theft, or other unlawful invasions of privacy.

10. PHOTOS AND LIKENESSES OF OTHER PEOPLE

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights or permissions required to publish photographs or other depictions of identifiable people.

Additional legal protections may apply to:

children;
private individuals;
celebrities;
public figures;
performers;
athletes; and
other identifiable persons.

The fact that a photograph is available online does not necessarily mean that you may lawfully turn it into a public sticker pack.

11. CELEBRITIES AND PUBLIC FIGURES

ArtLion may contain stickers involving celebrities, public figures, athletes, musicians, actors, creators, or other well-known individuals.

Such content is not automatically prohibited.

However, you must not use it in a way that unlawfully violates another person's:

privacy;
publicity rights;
personality rights;
copyright;
trademark rights; or
other legal rights.

You must not falsely represent fan-made content as officially created, licensed, sponsored, or endorsed by the person depicted.

Content must also comply with applicable laws concerning impersonation, defamation, advertising, and deceptive practices.

12. COPYRIGHT

Only publish content that you have the right to publish.

illustrations;
photographs;
artwork;
characters;
graphics;
designs;
and other creative works.

You may publish content where you own the relevant rights, have permission or a licence, or where your use is otherwise lawful.

The fact that an image can be found online does not mean it is copyright-free.

13. BRANDS, TRADEMARKS, AND LOGOS

ArtLion may contain content involving brands, products, logos, or trademarks.

Do not use such material in a way that unlawfully infringes trademark rights or falsely suggests:

sponsorship;
endorsement;
partnership;
authorization;
affiliation; or
official status.

Fan-created brand-related content must not be represented as official unless it genuinely is authorized.

14. FAN-MADE CONTENT

We recognize that fandom is an important part of sticker culture.

ArtLion may allow fan-made content inspired by:

games;
movies;
television;
anime;
comics;
music;
celebrities;
sports;
internet culture;
brands; and
other cultural properties.

Where appropriate, such content may be identified as Fan-Made or Unofficial.

However:

“Fan-Made” does not mean “copyright-free.”

You remain responsible for ensuring that your use is lawful.

Do not claim that fan-made content is official, licensed, authorized, sponsored, or endorsed when it is not.

Rights holders may report content under the ArtLion Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy.

15. OFFICIAL CONTENT

Only content genuinely authorized by the relevant creator, brand, artist, rights holder, or authorized representative may be presented as Official.

Do not:

add an “Official” designation without authorization;
falsely claim a partnership with a rights holder;
imitate ArtLion verification;
falsely claim that a brand or celebrity approved your pack; or
otherwise mislead users about the source of content.

ArtLion may require verification before granting official status.

16. AI-GENERATED CONTENT

AI-generated and AI-assisted stickers may be submitted for public publication where the relevant feature permits it.

AI-generated content must comply with the same Community Guidelines as other content.

The fact that content was generated by AI does not exempt it from:

copyright rules;
trademark rules;
privacy requirements;
personality or publicity rights;
safety requirements;
or applicable law.

The generation of content by ArtLion does not constitute approval for public publication.

AI-specific rules are described in the ArtLion AI Generation & Acceptable Use Policy.

17. IMPERSONATION AND MISREPRESENTATION

Do not create profiles, packs, descriptions, or other content designed to materially deceive users into believing you are:

another person;
a celebrity;
a company;
a brand;
an artist;
a rights holder;
an organization; or
an official representative

when you are not.

Parody or fan accounts may be permitted where they are not materially misleading and otherwise comply with these Guidelines.

18. FRAUD AND SCAMS

Do not use ArtLion to:

commit fraud;
run scams;
steal identities;
distribute phishing material;
solicit passwords or authentication credentials;
manipulate users into sending money;
promote fraudulent investment schemes; or
facilitate other deceptive or unlawful activity.

Accounts involved in serious fraud may be immediately restricted or terminated.

19. ILLEGAL GOODS AND ACTIVITIES

Do not use ArtLion to materially facilitate illegal activity or transactions involving prohibited goods or services.

This includes serious unlawful conduct involving, where prohibited by applicable law:

controlled drugs;
illegal weapons;
trafficking;
exploitation;
stolen property;
malicious cyber activity; or
other illegal goods or services.

ArtLion may restrict additional content where necessary to comply with law, safety obligations, or platform requirements.

20. SPAM AND PLATFORM MANIPULATION

Do not:

repeatedly upload substantially identical packs to manipulate discovery;
use automated systems to mass-publish content without authorization;
manipulate views, downloads, likes, rankings, or other metrics;
create large numbers of accounts to evade restrictions;
distribute deceptive links;
publish irrelevant promotional spam;
manipulate ArtLion's recommendation or moderation systems; or
use bots or unauthorized automation to interfere with ArtLion.

Reasonable use of creator tools provided or expressly authorized by ArtLion is permitted.

21. MALWARE AND SECURITY

Do not use ArtLion to distribute:

malware;
viruses;
malicious code;
phishing links;
credential-stealing content; or
other material intended to compromise another person's device, account, or data.

Do not attempt to exploit vulnerabilities in ArtLion or interfere with its security systems.

Security issues should be reported to hello@newlionstudio.com.

22. PACK NAMES, DESCRIPTIONS, AND METADATA

These Guidelines apply not only to sticker images but also to:

pack titles;
descriptions;
tags;
usernames;
profile information;
links;
metadata; and
other publicly visible information.

Do not use metadata to hide prohibited content, impersonate others, manipulate search results, or evade moderation.

23. PUBLICATION AND MODERATION

Submitting content does not guarantee publication.

ArtLion may use:

automated moderation;
manual review;
reports from users;
reports from rights holders;
AI-assisted safety systems; and
other reasonable review mechanisms.

Content may be reviewed before or after publication.

ArtLion may refuse to publish or may remove content that violates these Guidelines or other applicable ArtLion policies.

24. MODERATION IS NOT LEGAL APPROVAL

ArtLion moderation is designed to help operate and protect the platform.

Approval or publication of content does not mean that ArtLion has determined that:

you own the content;
the content is copyright-free;
the content does not infringe a trademark;
you have all required permissions;
the content is lawful in every country;
the content is suitable for every audience; or
the content has been endorsed by ArtLion.

You remain responsible for your content.

25. REPORTING CONTENT

If you believe public content violates these Guidelines, you may report it through any reporting functionality provided by ArtLion or contact:

Please provide enough information for us to identify the content and understand your concern.

For copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property complaints, please use the procedure described in the ArtLion Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy.

26. WHAT HAPPENS AFTER A REPORT

ArtLion may review:

the reported content;
its context;
the reason for the report;
relevant account history;
applicable policies;
information provided by the content creator; and
other relevant information.

Submitting a report does not guarantee that content will be removed.

We may determine that:

the content does not violate our policies;
additional information is required;
the content should be restricted;
the content should be removed; or
account-level action is appropriate.

27. ENFORCEMENT

Depending on the circumstances, ArtLion may take one or more of the following actions:

reject content before publication;
reduce or restrict its visibility where appropriate;
remove content;
remove a sticker pack;
remove an Official or other designation;
restrict publication functionality;
issue a warning;
temporarily restrict an account;
suspend an account; or
terminate an account.

We may consider:

severity;
context;
frequency;
intent;
previous violations;
potential harm;
legal obligations; and
risk to other users.

Serious violations may result in immediate action.

28. REPEATED VIOLATIONS

Repeated violations may result in stronger enforcement.

For example, repeatedly:

uploading removed content;
publishing infringing material;
attempting to bypass moderation;
creating accounts to evade restrictions;
publishing prohibited sexual content;
impersonating others; or
engaging in spam or fraud

may result in suspension or termination.

A single severe violation may also justify immediate account action.

29. APPEALS AND MISTAKES

Moderation systems can make mistakes.

If you believe your content was incorrectly removed or your account was incorrectly restricted, you may contact:

Please include enough information to identify:

your account;
the affected content;
the moderation action; and
why you believe the decision should be reconsidered.

Where appropriate, ArtLion may review the decision and restore content or account functionality.

Intellectual property disputes are handled under the Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy.

30. DIFFERENT RULES FOR PRIVATE AND PUBLIC CONTENT

ArtLion distinguishes between private generation and public publication.

Content generated privately through ArtLion is not automatically added to the public catalogue.

Public content may be subject to stricter standards because it can be viewed or used by other users, including users aged 13 and older.

Therefore, content that can technically be generated or privately stored may still be ineligible for public publication.

Private content remains subject to applicable law, the Terms of Use, and the AI Generation & Acceptable Use Policy.

31. CONTENT AVAILABILITY MAY VARY BY REGION

ArtLion operates internationally.

Laws and platform requirements differ between countries.

Certain content may therefore be:

unavailable;
restricted;
removed;
age-restricted;
or otherwise treated differently

in particular countries or regions.

ArtLion may take reasonable measures necessary to comply with local legal obligations.

32. CHANGES TO THESE GUIDELINES

ArtLion will continue to evolve, and these Guidelines may change as we introduce new:

content types;
AI features;
creator functionality;
public catalogue features;
moderation systems;
community features; or
safety measures.

We may also update these Guidelines in response to changes in law, platform requirements, safety risks, or abuse patterns.

When we update these Guidelines, we will update the Release Date and Effective Date.

Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.

The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is processed.

The Terms of Paid Services & Energy Coins govern purchases and paid functionality.

The AI Generation & Acceptable Use Policy governs AI generation and AI-related safety requirements.

The Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy governs intellectual property requirements and rights-holder complaints.

These Community Guidelines govern content and conduct within ArtLion's public and community areas.
